After a quiet January & February, with not too many releases and barely any successes, I’m definitely looking forward to see what March has in store for us with a lineup of mixed genre movies, including films of greatly varying budgets, different productions, and a combination of well-established actors as well as some new-age talent!

1. Lukka Chuppi – 1st March 2019:
Come out come out wherever you are cause our two favourite new age hotties Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon are ready to sizzle & set the screen on fire with a rom-com like no other! Also starring Pankaj Tripathi and Vinay Pathak, ‘Lukka Chuppi’ seems to lie somewhere between ‘Bareily ki Barfi’ and ‘Pyaar ka Punchnama’ – ready to be entertained guys? Hells to the yes!

Directed by Laxman Utekar
Release date – 1st March 2019

2. Badla – 8th March 2019:
Pioneer of thriller films, Sujoy Ghosh (director of Kahaani and Teen) joins hands with the ‘Pink’ duo and this time, they’re ready to take things to a whole new (psychological) level! ‘Badla’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and my personal favourite Taapsee Pannu, looks like seriously mind-numbing vengeful thriller that’s bound to leave us with wide eyes and dropped jaws!

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh
Release date – 8th March 2019

3. Kesari – 21st March 2019:
Akshay Kumar in a patriotic biopic?! Hmm, sounds familiar but sounds DEADLY! Looking back at Airlift, Rustom, Special 26 and many more brilliant and trendsetting films (based on true stories) that our Khiladi has done, ‘Kesari’ obviously goes to the top of my watchlist! That being said, looking forward to finally see the brand new pairing of Akshay Kumar with the cutie Parineeti Chopra!

Directed by Anurag Singh
Release date – 21st March 2019

4. Notebook – 29th March 2019:
Oooo, it’s that time of the year where our beloved bhaijaan Salman Khan launches two never-seen/heard-before star kids in an SKF production feature film! A smoking hot Zaheer Iqbal and the cute pretty looking Pranutan Bahl pair up for the originally American movie-inspired film, ‘Notebook’. Well, after looking at such an aesthetically stunning trailer, I guess I’m kind of excited for this coming of age love story, although, it’s always best to not have soaring high expectations, right?

Directed by Nitin Kakkar
Release date – 29th March 2019

See you at the movies! 😉
